It’s not the Ferrari of grinders by any stretch, but to compare it to a Honda Civic is fair.
It’s going to come in cheaper than some top of the line, fancy industrial Italian brand will, it also won’t do everything perfectly like the fanciest brands will. But it will also come in at a fraction of the cost, and seems capable of lasting to grind millions of coffee beans.

If you want an easy way to add a little bit of freshness to your cup of coffee and you middle of the road coffee beans, this can work for you.

If you want to buy cheap, whole bean coffee, and grind it, this can still be for you.

Would not recommend for batch grinding pounds on pounds of coffee, or for someone who expects nothing but the greatest, most precision instruments for their coffee experience.

However, if you need to grind a few ounces of coffee beans on a daily basis for you and/or some family or friends, you probably fall in the broad middle road of coffee drinkers, and this is a great option for you!

Cup for grinding could be bigger but easy to use and works well

I lost money on this product. I drink coffee 5 to 7 times a day, and this is without my wife and sons using this Hamilton Beach Fresh Grind Electric Coffee Grinder for Beans, Spices, and More, Stainless Steel Blades, Removable Chamber, Makes up to 12 Cups, Black. However, it’s not a reliable grinder. It has smoke coming from inside, and it smells like an electrical motor and wires. This was purchased on April 15, 2023. The expiration date has expired, making it a piece of junk. Now, I am out of a coffee grinder and the money that was spent on this machine. I give this Hamilton Beach Fresh Grind Electric Coffee Grinder for Beans, Spices, and More, Stainless Steel Blades, Removable Chamber, Makes up to 12 Cups, Black a BIG “F”. There is no warranty on this product unless Amazon is willing to send me a new one or return my money.

Product is nice looking, compact, cord tucks away. I chose a used one and could not separate the bowl from the unit. I wanted a grinder that could prepare grounds for a few days, this one is too small, will probably use at the cottage where space is limited.

I recently added the Hamilton Beach Fresh Grind Electric Coffee Grinder to my kitchen arsenal, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for my daily coffee routine and spice grinding needs.

First and foremost, the stainless steel design of this grinder not only adds a touch of modern elegance to my countertop but also ensures its durability. It’s built to withstand regular use and the wear and tear that come with it.

When it comes to coffee grinding, this appliance excels. It offers multiple grind settings, allowing me to choose the perfect consistency for my preferred brewing method, whether it’s a coarse grind for a French press or a fine grind for espresso. The Fresh Grind consistently produces even and precise results, which is essential for a fantastic cup of coffee.

However, what truly sets this grinder apart is its versatility. Beyond coffee beans, I’ve used it to grind a variety of spices and herbs, and it has exceeded my expectations. The powerful motor and sharp stainless steel blades handle the toughest of spices with ease, giving my dishes that extra burst of flavor.

The operation is straightforward with a simple one-touch button, and the removable grinding chamber makes it a breeze to clean up. Plus, the compact size means it doesn’t take up much space in my kitchen.

In summary, the Hamilton Beach Fresh Grind Electric Coffee Grinder has quickly become an indispensable tool in my kitchen. Its sleek design, ease of use, and exceptional grinding capabilities for both coffee and spices make it a must-have for any home cook or coffee enthusiast. If you’re looking for a reliable and versatile grinder, this one is a fantastic choice that won’t disappoint.

I purchased this July 5th 2023. It was great while it lasted but, the grinder bowl cracked today after I ground about 3 table spoons of beans. I tried to super glue it but it was beyond repair. I have no idea how it cracked but came on here to buy a higher end grinder and thought I’d share my experience while I was on here, it’s the same brand but it has a stainless steel inner bowl. I had no complaints about how it grinds and I love the cord wrap at the base. I’m sure I could get it replaced but, it’s less than $20, not worth the hassle in my opinion. I never used the dishwasher, always hand washed the base and lid and was always very careful with it. These things happen, I’ve always liked HB products and stand by the company.

We appreciate the compact size of this little grinder. It does a good job of grinding coffee. It’s not quite as sturdy as ones we’ve owned in the past but does a good job. Have not tried nuts, seeds or spices, however, it should work fine for those as well. We are happy with our purchase.

Had a large bur grinder. Based on reviews, had this shipped place would be staying temporarily. Took it with me to permanent lodging because fits much better smaller space. Does great, quick job grinding beans. Easy clean. Highly recommend

As lame as it sounds, I want to pick my grind hit a button and have it done for me. This one you have to hold the button till you feel like it’s good enough ?

This little machine was able to grind up my coffee beans very nicely. I found filling the hopper with beans and grinding for 15 seconds gave me the right grind for my pour over coffee. I thought the machine was going to be larger based on the pictures, so was surprised at how small it was when it arrived. I can get about 6 tablespoons of beans in the hopper at one time, so I had to repeatedly do small batches to grind up a one pound bag of beans, but it didn’t take too long overall. The cord is rather short but was not an issue for me, but might be if someone does not have a convenient outlet to plug into. It was very easy to clean and the hopper and lid are dishwasher safe. Bonus! I was having trouble using my manual grinder as the arthritis in my hands was getting worse, so am very happy to now have this electric grinder. You can also use this to grind spices, such as cloves or cardamom, so they have a fresher aroma. Other than the small size, the rubberized bottom really didn’t keep the grinder from trying to move across the counter while grinding, so I set it on a silicone trivet to keep it in place.

Personally I am very pleased with this coffee grinder. Mind you, the grinding cup could be bigger. But I am a single person, so I do 2 tablespoons of coffee beans at a time. This way it never makes a mess. After that I put the ground coffee into a vacuum airtight container. Yes, it is quite noisy. The secret is to PULSE it, 3 times for 5 seconds. I count till 5 and stop. I tap the sides of the cup, so it won’t spill. Then I pour it into my vacuum container over the sink. Then I use the brush which I purchased specially to clean the cup and the lid . This coffee cleaning brush is very soft and gets into all the corners, does an excellent job. I hand wash the container and lid once a week. But I make the best coffee I had in years using beans by Melitta. The reason why I gave it only 4 stars is because it is quite noisy and the grinding cup is too small

I grind my flax seeds. Does a great job!

If you are doing coffee beans over ground coffee and do not have a built-in grinder, this is the best one for the money!
